ROCK RESCUE PROGRAM
When things don't go exactly according to plan, will you know how to handle an emergency on a cliff?
This course is an intensive 2 day course designed for most one-on-one and one-on-two rock rescue applications. Learn the skills necessary to execute a self-rescue under realistic circumstances. Skills taught include escaping the belay, rescue raises and lowers, and emergency retreats in a simulated emergency situation.
This course is modeled after the standards applied by the American Mountain Guides Association. As part of the course, students will be asked to perform an actual simulated rescue in a timed scenario.
